the earth ink

In 2010, The Earth Ink established a "signature" postcard design with 15 little window for photos. Returning from an around-the-world trip, this design first became a "change of address" postcard with new details printed on the back. A quote from Mother Jones provides some context for this card: "My address is like my shoes. It travels with me." The postcard showcases global destinations; featuring thumbnail photos from Antarctica, New Zealand, Singapore, Jordan, Croatia, Turkey, Greece, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, Canada, Switzerland, and the United States. This postcard design has been used several times over in different contexts.  The design is customizable with customer photos and available* in  qualities of 100+. Rome holds so many treasures that I was amazed at how busy I kept during the full three days I spent in the city. While wandering around the town on foot, I found several places where I could to sit with my journal for hours. The Pantheon with a cup of gelato, the Spanish Steps for sunset and a glass of wine, and the Trevi Fountain with a cappucino. Each locale oozed with Italian ambiance. Perhaps a little full of the tourist types, these locations also offer plenty of opportunities to people watch.  Even on this rainy day, I found joy in colourful umbrellas and the detail in the fountain's sculptures.
